Full Health Screen We can offer a comprehensive health screen which is not routinely available through the NHS. Our full physical examination includes chest, cardiovascular system, abdomen, central nervous system, skin, eyes, ears and throat, rectal and a testicular examination for men or a cervical smear and breast examination for women. Additionally, we use the latest diagnostic tests to screen for a wide range of problems such as diabetes, and high cholesterol. We assess your liver function, kidney function and check for problems such as anaemia and infection. Additionally, we offer screening for various medical conditions including prostate abnormalities and bowel cancer. The progress of these serious conditions can be reversed with simple intervention when caught early. Screening tests in general are appropriate for those who have specific health worries e.g. people with high cholesterol or diabetes, as well as screening for otherwise healthy patients who just want reassurance. As with most investigations the trend is more important than a one-off result. Hence having these tests on a regular basis can allow trends to be spotted. The following examination and tests are conducted for the full health screen: Physical Exam
