PRP Therapy is a powerful, natural method of skin rejuvenation that uses your body’s own natural resources to improve the tone and texture of your skin, as well as to promote healing and hair growth on the scalp.
This treatment involves using a sample of the patient’s own blood, separating the cells and plasma, before injecting the plasma back into the relevant areas.
The benefits of this revolutionary new treatment are impressive and it is being hailed as one of the biggest advances in anti-ageing treatments. Patients visiting our award-winning clinic from throughout Surrey and Hampshire are delighted with the results.
How does Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy work?
The treatment involves using ingredients from your own blood called ‘Platelet Rich Plasma’ (PRP) to improve and enhance your skin.
A small test-tube of blood is taken from your arm, which is then separated into red blood cells and clear serum, containing the platelets. The resulting serum is rich in growth factors and natural proteins that can expedite healing, reverse cell damage, repair DNA and stimulate new collagen production. The serum is then injected into the area which you wish to rejuvenate.
What does the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy involve?
We take a small syringe of blood from your arm. Then, we immediately process it, which takes about 15 minutes. Afterwards, Dr Tailor injects the harvested serum painlessly into the relevant areas, which can include:
