Meet the Team: Dr Vishnu Nathan

We’re very excited and pleased to announce the newest member of the Health & Aesthetics team, Dr Vishnu Nathan. We sat down to catch up and chat about his previous experience and what he believes aesthetics means to him.
What is your experience?
“I graduated as a doctor from St. George’s, London and with a BSc (hons) from King’s College. Since then, I have continued further training as a surgeon with an interest in facial aesthetics and microsurgery, in centres of excellence in London, Los Angeles and Europe.
I am also currently studying Dental Surgery at King’s College which has allowed me to adopt a unique approach to surgery. This further training has enabled me to gain an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy as well as expertise on the relationship between facial and smile aesthetics”
What are the values that drive you?
“Less is more. I continuously aim to deliver natural, yet noticeable aesthetic outcomes to all my patients. I strive to approach facial rejuvenation holistically. A bespoke, comprehensive treatment plan is essential to achieve a refined, understated result.”
How do you achieve your results?
“Firstly, communication is key, explaining the procedure clearly and creating realistic expectations is paramount. Holistic assessment of a patient’s face is necessary to deliver a tailored treatment plan and subtle but noticeable aesthetic outcome. I also reflect and attempt to improve my technique with each treatment I deliver.”
What else are you passionate about?
“I’m very passionate about education and mentoring. Not only does it further the knowledge of other medical professionals, but also my own. I strive to instil my own multidisciplinary approach to facial aesthetics in all my trainees, providing each with the knowledge, understanding and tools necessary to thrive within the industry.
I endeavour to guide and support trainees to transition into successful colleagues, encouraging each to confidently deliver a safe and bespoke outcome, through my patient, adaptable approach.”
Dr. Vishnu Nathan will be starting at Health & Aesthetics on the 12th of July. He will be taking on his own patients going forward.
