The award-winning Hydrafacial MD is a multi-phase treatment which thoroughly cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin to deliver immediate and long-lasting results – leaving the skin plumped and glowing. It is non-invasive and non-ablative, making it suitable for all skin types, and effective for treating numerous skin complaints as well as combating fine lines and other signs of ageing.

Like many spa facial treatments, Hydrafacial is a relaxing and pleasant experience, but unlike conventional facials, Hydrafacial uses revolutionary technology to deliver rejuvenating and hydrating serums to the skin, for visible results. Yet despite its effectiveness, because it is more gentle than microdermabrasion or chemical peels, the treatment can be had monthly, or even weekly, and can be combined with laser treatments.

How does Hydrafacial work?

Hydrafacial (also known as hydradermabrasion) uses revolutionary 4 in 1 Vortex Technology to remove dead skin cells and impurities, and hydrate the skin with antioxidants and peptides.

First, a special lymphatic drainage technique is used to help increase circulation and eliminate toxins from the skin. This is followed by a gentle, yet deep-cleansing exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and impurities. Next, a skin-brightening glycolic and salicylic solution helps to loosen debris from the pores, preparing the skin for the extraction stage.

A combination of technical and manual extraction is used to remove blackheads and other impurities from the pores in congested areas of the face – typically focusing on the forehead, cheeks and around the nose, preparing the skin for hydration.

A mixture of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides are applied to hydrate and plump up the skin, helping to reduce fine lines. Finally, LED light is used to reduce redness, stimulate collagen production and leave the skin looking brighter and younger.

Hydrafacial for acne, rosacea and other skin complaints

As a result of its deep pore cleansing, Hydrafacial can help to improve the condition of acne prone skin, as it reduces pore congestion and extracts the impurities which can cause lumps and bumps in the skin. It also improves the appearance of large pores.

Hydrafacial can even reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and treat the effects of sun damage, dark skin spots and hyperpigmentation. The deep cleansing and oil reduction effects, combined with LED light therapy reduces the signs of fine blood vessels and redness, improving the appearance of skin prone to rosacea.

Hydrafacial is a cost-effective facial treatment, and here at Health & Aesthetics, it is one of our most popular therapies.
