CoolSculpting – the coolest inch loss treatment

CoolSculpting – the coolest inch loss treatment

POSTED ON: 20th November 2015

CoolSculpting – the non-invasive, no needles and no scarring alternative to liposuction.

There has been a lot of buzz about CoolSculpting, but perhaps you’re not quite sure exactly what it is or how it works.

It is a technology that has been around for a couple of years now that freezes and destroys stubborn fat cells in an instant. Therefore it leads to inch loss, tighter and more toned skin.
So there has never been a better time to try this treatment.

CoolSculpting decreases areas of body fat that are resistant to diet and exercise without surgery.
This treatment works through cryolipolysis. It is the scientific term for cooling down the fat cells to the point at which they die and are naturally expelled from the body.

The machine that performs this procedure in our clinic has been expertly designed not to damage the overlying skin, by using a built-in Freeze Detect safety measure (so don’t try this at home).

What does CoolSculpting treatment involve?

You use the device onto the area of fat that you want to reduce. The tissue is compressed between two cooling plates for less than an hour, which is virtually painless (really it is).

You are completely awake for the whole procedure. You can read, make phone calls, listen to music, work on your laptop, or simply take a nap while you’re lying down in our private CoolSculpting room.

When it’s over, the intelligent machine will send a page to the therapist to come in and turn it off, or treat another area of fat. It is simple, fast and effective.

There is no need for anaesthesia, no cutting, no pain, no special garments to wear and no downtime afterwards. All you may experience is some slight bruising, swelling and numbness at the treatment site for a couple of days.

It will take around three months for you to see the best results, as your body needs time to clear out the dead fat cells.

This treatment is ideal for those who are within two to three stones of their ideal body weight and have pockets of pinchable soft fat.

CoolSculpting treats the abdomen, muffin tops, love handles, saddle bags, thighs, back, bra fat and moobs.

The latest clinical data suggests that treating the same area twice within a month further increases the amount of fat lost.

As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, with a proper diet and regular exercise, the results from CoolSculpting should be long-lasting.

CoolSculpting has been available at Health & Aesthetics for several years so we have a lot of experience delivering this treatment and achieving excellent results.
