Having beautiful skin is often a concern, whether ageing is making itself more apparent through your skin or you have acne, scars, and uneven pigmentation. Here at Health & Aesthetics, we understand how important it is for you to have effective treatments, targeting those areas that you’re most unhappy with. For this reason, we offer a range of non-invasive procedures ranging from acne treatment to laser tattoo removal to help you achieve the beautiful skin you’ve always wanted.

General Skin Issues

As a non-invasive, non-irritating, and soothing treatment, Hydrafacial is an ideal treatment for a wide range of skin issues. Also known as hydradermabrasion, you can benefit from this treatment should you wish to target general skin issues and want to improve your complexion. A course of treatments will provide the best results, although you should see an improvement from the first treatment.

Hydrafacial follows a few simple steps:

– Detoxing your skin through lymphatic drainage ensures that your body’s circulation is improved for firmer skin.

– Cleansing and exfoliation remove dead skin cells, revealing healthy and new skin. Botanical cleansers and glucosamine are both delivered into the tissues deep in your skin.

– A brightening agent, glycolic and salicylic solution, loosens the debris from your pores, ready for extraction. Your skin is given a brighter look, free of irritation.

– Blackheads and impurities are removed through painless extraction by utilising a serum composed of natural salicylic acid and honey extract.

– Through hydrafacial vortex-fusion technology, hydrating hyaluronic acid and powerful antioxidants, peptides, and multi-peptides are delivered, replenishing the skin, hydrating it, plumping it, and promoting its health.

– Through both infrared LED and red light, redness is reduced and collagen stimulated. The light also ensures that vitamin D is produced, with the result being glowing skin. P-bacteria acne is targeted through blue light, having a calming effect on active acne.

Skin Laxity and Rejuvenation

Ultherapy is a revolutionary treatment that targets tissue layers accurately and precisely at the exact depth using ultrasound energy. This allows for the stimulation and hence, production of new elastin and collagen, which rejuvenates and tightens the skin. This non-invasive treatment is ideal for anyone with jowls, sagging, and laxity at the jawline, neck, décolletage, and hooded eyes and tone improving after 12 weeks, with less sagging and the best results approximately six months after the treatment.

As the only device to be US FDA-approved and European CE Mark Ila, it has been thoroughly trialled with over 1,000,000 treatments carried out worldwide. We were the first skin clinic in Surrey and Hampshire to deliver this treatment and this has allowed us to become experts and skilled at delivering Ultherapy.

Acne and Acne Scarring

Laser treatment at Health & Aesthetics kills acne bacteria, also helps to reduce sebum, or oil production, which guarantees both less acne bacteria and less sebum for improved acne.

Dermalux LED light therapy is a blue light used to destroy acne bacteria, which normalises oil production. In addition to reducing active acne, it also helps to prevent future breakouts. ZO medical skin care helps to treat and correct skin conditions, maintain a strong, healthy, and young looking skin. It also prevents the reoccurrence of persistent skin issues, promoting healthier skin and cellular function. It also helps to protect the skin, prevent DNA damage, and minimise UV damage.

Skin chemical peels ensure that your skin is carefully exfoliated, targeting the surface layers. These treatments stimulate your skin’s production of new skin cells, guaranteeing that your pores don’t get clogged. In addition to treating scarring, these acne treatments in Surrey can target dry skin, sun damage, brown spots, acne, oily skin, lines and wrinkles, redness, uneven skin tone, and melasma.

Pigmentation and Brown Spots

Our non-ablative laser treatment helps to treat hyperpigmentation, brown spots, melasma, freckles, and uneven skin tone. A handpiece exposes the pigmented areas through short pulses of visible light, helping to break down the melanin that provides the pigmentation to your skin. The body naturally absorbs the pigment, which reduces the dark patches on your skin. Three to six treatments at four-week intervals will provide you with the results you are looking for.

Dermalux LED light therapy gives you faster healing, as there might be redness and swelling for approximately two to three days. The treatment through Dermalux LED light straight after the laser treatment will reduce the swelling and redness and ensure healing is improved.

Rosacea

While mild rosacea can be effectively targeted through topical or oral antibiotics to reduce its symptoms of redness, burning or itchy skin, and inflammation, there may be some antibiotic resistance. Laser treatment treats rosacea symptoms such as redness, broken capillaries, flushing, and thread veins. The pigment in the blood absorbs the laser energy, causing the blood to coagulate and the unwanted veins to collapse without harming the surrounding tissue.

These veins disappear gradually as healing occurs, and excellent results can be achieved through a course of treatments.

In addition, Dermalux LED light therapy, facial peels, and topical cosmeceutical products can aid in reducing pustules, redness, and pimples, giving your skin a boost. Mirvaso topical gel temporarily reduces redness in the skin, with results appearing within 30 minutes of application and lasting up to 12 hours.

Although it does not cure rosacea or stop it from progressing, it can help to temporarily improve the redness. Some skin irritation, burning/itching, or flushing may occur, so be sure to contact one of our experts for more information.

All skin is different, and we know that everyone requires different approaches and treatments for effective results. Our team of experts is always available to answer any question you might have – simply get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help.
