This depends on the results you desire and the current condition of the skin. We recommend that most patients undertake at least six months of treatment to ensure the pigmentation has completely gone.
No, but the mask application can feel tingly and warm and there is some downtime.
You will be sent home from the clinic with the mask treatment on. It needs to be kept on for at least 6-8 hours, depending on skin condition. There is a small amount of downtime from the treatments which may include redness and flaking.
The first step in the depigmentation programme is skin preparation.
Skin preparation is required for 4-6 weeks prior to the Cosmelan mask application.
