Dr Tailor delivers the treatment to the face using the 5-point BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique, the optimum method for placement of the product. We use the 5 injection points on each side of the face, away from major vessels, nerves etc. in such a way as to maximise the ‘spreadability’ of the product through diffuse regions of the cheek and jawline.
The product flows and distributes itself evenly. Moreover, it is integrating within your skin’s tissue without resistance (rather than remaining at the same place). Therefore, this makes it naturally a much less painful procedure than dermal fillers.
Profhilo won’t produce lumps and bumps in these or other areas. Even if we inject it as a bolus, it flows freely into the tissue and moves completely naturally and fills them evenly within 24 to 48 hours. Profhilo’s unsurpassed level of tissue integration and biocompatibility is due to its unique manufacturing process.
While most dermal fillers contain local anaesthetic such as lidocaine to assist in a pain-free procedure, we do not need to use any for Profhilo injections. We also us a minute needle which means that the skin is generally free from marks and bruises.
