Contraindication
Bell’s Palsy. Muscle weakness. Presence of a metal stent or implant in the facial area. Metal pins and plates in the face. Pacemakers and/or electronic device implants in the treated area. Skin disease in the treatment area (acne, eczema, psoriasis, cold sores) in the area being treated. Pregnancy. Breast-feeding.

What is Sofwave, and how does it work?
From our mid-20s, the body’s production of collagen and elastin begins to slow. This gradual loss causes skin to lose firmness, develop fine lines and start to sag — particularly around the brows, jawline, neck, and décolletage.
Sofwave uses Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam (SUPERB™) technology to deliver precisely targeted ultrasound energy to the mid-dermis — 1.5mm below the skin’s surface. At this depth, the energy heats collagen fibres, triggering the body’s natural healing response and stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin.
Unlike older HIFU devices, which concentrate energy into tiny focal hotspots, Sofwave’s seven parallel energy beams treat broader areas simultaneously — making treatment faster, more comfortable, and more consistent across the skin’s surface. What is Sofwave™?
Starting in our mid-20’s, collagen and elastin start to break down causing our skin to wrinkle. Sofwave™ is a new, clinically proven, non-invasive approach to rebuilding collagen. Sofwave™ is FDA cleared for lifting the eyebrow, submental tissue and neck, and for the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
How does Sofwave™ work?
Our unique, Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam Technology SUPERB™ generates heat at the right depth of 1.5mm in the mid-dermis. Additionally, there is an integrated cooling SofCool™ mechanism that protects the uppermost skin layer from burning.
The impacted treatment zones stimulate a healing response, called neocollagenesis, which increases and regenerates the collagen in the skin, leading to the reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
How long is a typical Sofwave™ Treatment?
The treatment itself is fast, taking approximately 30 – 40 minutes for the full face and neck region.
How long does it take to see results?
Patients are expected to see light results after 3 months with full results 6-9 months after their treatment.
What were Sofwave’s™ clinical results?
At 3 months, a majority of patients were marked as improved to very much improved following a single treatment session only. 72% of the patients were satisfied with their results and rated them as improved to very much improved. The safety profile was strong with no serious adverse events reported by study participants.
What does the Sofwave™ treatment feel like?
As the ultrasound energy is delivered, patients will feel heat in the skin, which can be resolved by applying a topical anesthetic cream just before the treatment.
Following treatment, there are no sensations and there is no need to apply special care to the skin. Patient may resume their daily activities quickly post treatment.
How many treatments does it take?
With Sofwave™, most patients only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from an additional treatment, depending on their body’s physiological response to the treatment.
