I have just attended the most amazing conference and received training from Dr Mauricio de Maio, an international expert and eminent plastic surgeon from Brazil regarding the MD Codes Visionary.
Dr de Maio originally developed the 8 Point Lift after identifying 8 key areas for treatment. He has subsequently developed the MD Codes which are predefined and precise sites on the face where dermal fillers can be injected for optimal, natural results.
The Visionary programme has strengthened my knowledge of the MD Codes with regards to analysing, developing a treatment plan and then treating my patients.
It has also enabled me to learn new ways to inject dermal fillers so that I can rejuvenate sympathetically and my patients can achieve outstanding natural looking results.
In the past, fillers were injected wherever individual practitioners saw fit. At times the added weight and volume simply resulted in more sagging and drooping resulting in unnatural appearance. The cause of the ageing process was not being addressed.

The Juvederm range is smooth in consistency and hence results in less swelling, bruising and natural looking results. Results can last 12-18 months depending upon the area treated.
The Juvederm range also contains a mild local anaesthetic. The skin is also numbed with some local anaesthetic cream prior to treatment. This results in a very comfortable treatment.
